Things To Do In The Area
There are so many fun activities for you to enjoy in the surrounding area of Cape Infanta, here are some that we recommend.

BEACH OPTIONS:Cape Infanta Slipway
Small and intimate and quite a social place where you’ll meet the locals – it’s about 1km from the cottage (turn right back onto the dirt road and go straight) also an easy walk or bike ride.Kabeljoubank
In the river mouth and a great place to start a long beach walk
up river. Small beach for a quick cool off (turn right back onto the dirt road and then immediately left and follow the road till you reach the car park).Aasbank
A lovely and easy, very safe swimming spot in the estuary at all tides. Very good for small children and dogs (turn left back onto the dirt road and after about 1.5km turn right at the marked sign and keep going down the hill till you reach the sea).

SURFING:Rondeklip
On the edge of the village - an easy break, favoured by locals and better at high tide.Dangles
A bit more gnarly, closer to the river mouth, but accessible from the edge of the village. And if you get lost, just ask the locals!

MTB & TRAIL RUNNING:The route starts just across the road in front of the property. Please pay the daily or weekly permit cost via SnapScan which is located at the entrance sign.

WALKING OPTIONS:There are many options for walking in the area, on the beach, the trail or the farm. Ask your hosts for even more suggestions!

FISHING:There are many options as long as you have your license, which you will need for bait collection too. Your hosts will explain the various options. There is also boat launching from the public slipway at Infanta into the sea, but it can be quite a tricky launch. For a simpler option there is the municipal slipway at Mudlark (turn right about 2.5km up the dirt road and drive down to the river.)

OTHER:The area is a water sports heaven with perfect conditions for:- Paddling
- Kite Surfing
- Wind Surfing
- Sailing
- SUP’íng
- Snorkelling
- Exploring rock pools
- Bird watching etc.(Please make sure to bring your own gear if you're interested in partaking in any of these sports.)
Thank You
